Ms. Ellis leads the team that delivers the company’s nationwide mystery shopping services, currently averaging 6,000 apartment mystery shops per month. Ellis Partners’ comprehensive, automated property management mystery shopping reports have made Ellis an industry standard in performance evaluation of onsite leasing professionals. Under her leadership, Ellis Partners in Management Solutions has established itself as the premier apartment mystery shopping company in the nation with clients that include most major apartment developers, management companies, and REITs. Ms. Ellis was also instrumental in creating the Ellis Benchmark, a widely recognized measurement score for best practices in the lead conversion process.
Having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Texas A&M in 1983, Ms. Ellis has spent more than 20 years in the multifamily industry, and she now holds both the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designations from the National Apartment Association. She is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent.
In honor of Ellis Partners’ reputation for integrity, the Dallas Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals awarded Ms. Ellis, on behalf of the company, the 2008 Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award for mid-size companies. The Society of Financial Service Professionals established the American Business Ethics Award to honor companies that demonstrate a firm commitment to ethical business practices in everyday operations, management philosophies, and responses to crises or challenges. Mrs. Grimes began her career with Ellis as an Editor in November 2007. Her hard work and commitment to excellence quickly earned her a position of leadership within the department. Since May 2008, Mrs. Grimes has been a Team Leader in our Editing Department, where she oversees a group of Editors and is responsible for conducting ongoing training of, selecting qualified new candidates for, and providing direction to her team members. In 2013 she was promoted to Director of the Scheduling and Check-in departments, working with a team of employees to help ensure shops are assigned to independent contract shoppers and completed in a timely manner.
Prior to joining Ellis, Mrs. Grimes served as Human Resources Manager for a correctional facility. Her experience and people skills have made her a welcome addition to the Ellis team. Mrs. Grimes currently resides in Venus, TX with her family.
Jessica began contracting with Ellis as a mystery shopper in 2002. Later that year she joined Ellis as a part-time employee in the Scheduling department. As part of the Ellis team, she works to ensure that shops are assigned to independent contractor shoppers quickly based on the customer’s requirements.
Before beginning her career with Ellis, Jessica worked in the Medical Staff office for the Memorial Herman Hospital as a Credentialing Specialist. She currently resides in TX with her family. Jessica is responsible for scheduling all of Ellis’ recorded onsite audio and video shops.
Vanessa was originally introduced to Ellis as a Mystery Shopper in 2006. After five years of mystery shopping, she joined the Ellis team as an employee in our Editing Department. Five years later, she transitioned to her current role as a Recruiter / Scheduler.
Vanessa graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, with a minor in Finance. Before beginning her career with Ellis, she worked as a Database Administrator and Event Planner.
Annie grew up in a mystery shopping family and has been part of the EPMS team since 2011. She is often the first point of contact for new shoppers, assisting with the application process and answering their questions. She lives in San Antonio and enjoys traveling and cheering for the Spurs.
Erica originally became associated with Ellis as an independent contractor mystery shopper in 1999. She joined the Ellis team as an employee in 2001 and has worked in Scheduling in a variety of roles since that time.
Erica graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration. In addition to working with Ellis, she has worked in the healthcare and property management fields. She resides in Katy, TX with her husband and two sons. Erica is always on the lookout for new Ellis mystery shoppers across the US.
In 2012, Robbi joined the Ellis team as a Scheduler. She brings more than 25 years of customer service and sales experience to the Scheduling department.
Robbi enjoys working with Ellis shoppers and clients and being a productive part of the Ellis Mystery Shopping team. She is always glad to hear from shoppers or those who are interested in learning more about mystery shopping.
